Easy Easter Rolls
Who doesn’t love a Squishy Yeasty Roll with their Brisket or Alongside any family Meal- Especially with Easter coming up these are a favorite for us! This Recipe makes 9 Rolls (In an 8 by 8 pan) so If your feeding a crowd you can always double it!
Start by Mixing in a Bowl:
4 cups of All purpose Flour
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Quick Yeast
1 Tbsp Sea Salt
Whisk to make sure Everything is easily distributed, Then Pour in 2 Cups of Lukewarm Water (Not too hot or you’ll kill the yeast!)
Stir to combine- Gently Kneading to make sure there aren’t any Dry Clumps. Then Cover and allow to Rest until doubled in size, Roughly 2 Hours (If your house is around 69-70 degrees, If your house is warmer it might only take just over an hour.) With A Scraper tool or knife divide into 9 equal balls, rolling and pulling to get a nice Bun Shape. (If sticky use minimal flour to shape) Place in a Buttered 8x8 inch pan and Cover with a Tea Towel to Proof once more around 30 Mins. While that’s proofing you can preheat your Oven to 350 , Place your pan in the Oven and Bake 25 Mins or until Nicely Golden brown on the Top, Pour out of pan and allow to Cool on a Wire Rack so it doesn’t go Soggy. Best Enjoyed Warm!
