That GIANT Cookie Recipe
There’s no Surprise that the overall proportions of the recipe are a lot but if you are getting your Kitchen Dirty Anyways- You might as well just do it once! Chocolate chip cookies are such a Simple and delicious cookie base with lots of versatility. Just make Cookies, or make Ice cream sandwiches, or a skillet cookie like at a restaurant- the list goes on! I like to make a dozen or so and then freeze them into little Pucks to use as my own “homeade” pillsbury dough cookie balls. That way if i need to whip up cookies i can just pull out 12 dough balls and look like Martha Stewart while keeping my kitchen clean! Ignore the fine print at your own risk here as well because if you want crunchy edges with soft centers you have to follow the directions! I prefer to use my Kitchenaid mixer for these because by biceps would burn off if i didn’t with the stirring required.
This Recipe makes 48+ Cookies…
Alright are you READY??!
1 Entire Brick of Butter ( I prefer salted for cookies)
2 cups white sugar
2 cups packed brown sugar (like your making a sand castle)
(Cream these for 5 minutes until the color lightens and the mixture is Smooth)
Add 4 eggs (1 at a time and scrape the sides down after each addition)
Add 2 Tbsp vanilla extract, Mix again for 2 Minutes
Without stirring again add all Dry Ingredients;
2 Tsp Baking soda
1 Tsp Sea Salt
6 Cups Flour
Mix on Low until fully combined (1-2 Minutes- you don’t want to overmix now or you’ll get Tough Cookies)
Then LASTLY
Add 3-4 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
I Love using a Cookie scooper because i like Factory style unity for my cookies but you totally can shape them by hand if you’d prefer. You could bake them All or Bake half and freeze the rest into little dough balls or anything that suits for families schedule the Best!
When you bake- Heat Oven to 350 , line your cookie sheet with parchment paper & cook for 10-12 minutes.
If pulling from the Freezer allow them to thaw partially on your cookie sheet while your oven heats up, then bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Tag me on Instagram if you give these a GO and let me know how they turn out!
